Barb Olson of Muddy Creek Primitives, designer and creator of unique handmade pieces is pleased to offer this prim Liberty with a "Liberty" Star garland. She is wearing a homespun red, tan and blue striped dress with striped homespun skirt. Her dress has a piece of blue chenille at the waist. On her bodice is a rusty tin star. She is holding a garland of rusty tin stars with small brass squares stamped with "Liberty" and attached to blue wool felt and strung on a piece of burgundy chenille yarn. She also has a grunged up metal brass crown with a rusty tin star. Her eyes and mouth are handstitched with crochet thread. Her nose and eyebrows are hand sculpted with needle and thread. Liberty's hair is light brown mohair. She is mounted on a gray stained board with a dowel. The board has felt on the base to protect your furniture. She is wonderfully grunged up to look very primitive. Liberty is 17 1/2" tall. Set her on your mantle or side table with our companion piece, Uncle Sam with Rocket Firework ( also available in my Etsy shop).
