Barb Olson of Muddy Creek Primitives, designer and creator of unique handmade pieces is pleased to offer this primitive Snowman, designed by Black Porch Pickins. This snowman is painted white. He has a top hat that has been painted black and has a piece of homespun fabric on it. He also has a piece of homespun for a scarf around his neck. Down his front are rusty bells and his mittens are red felt. His eyes are hand painted and stitched and his nose is fabric that is painted burnt orange. The mouth is hand embroidered with crochet cotton. He is mounted on a slice of wood with a large stick. He is holding a green wool felt bag with snowballs and pipecleaner candy canes in it and "snowballs 4 sale" printed on a piece of muslin stitched to the front. In his other arm is a faux evergreen branch. This Snowman has been all "grunged" up to make him look so wonderfully prim. He will set wonderfully on a chair or mantle surrounded by greenery .
