Barb Olson of Muddy Creek Primitives, designer and creator of unique handmade pieces is pleased to offer this prim Liberty that is holding a torch. She is wearing a homespun red, tan and blue striped dress. Her dress has denim blue fringe yarn sewn on the neckline and sleeves. On her bodice is a hand dyed blue star that has been hand stitched on. A piece of muslin with "america" and hearts stamped on it attached to the star. She also has a grunged up metal crown. Her eyes, eyebrows and mouth are handstitched with crochet thread. Her nose is hand sculpted with needle and thread. Liberty's hair is coconut fiber. She is holding a wooden torch with gold tinsel for the flame. She is mounted on a gray stained board with a dowel. The board has felt on the base to protect your furniture. She is wonderfully grunged up to look very primitive. Liberty is 14 1/2" tall. Set her on your mantle or side table with our companion piece Uncle Sam with God Bless America Flag ( also available in our Etsy shop).
