Barb Olson of Muddy Creek Primitives, designer and creator of unique handmade pieces is pleased to offer this prim Uncle Sam that is holding a God Bless America flag. He is wearing a homespun red, tan and blue striped pants and plaid bowtie. His shirt and top hat are hand-dyed blue muslin. A piece of muslin with "USA" and stars stamped on it are attached to the hat. His eyes, eyebrows and mouth are handstitched with crochet thread. His nose is hand sculpted with needle and thread. Uncle Sam's hair and beard are cream wool roving. He is holding a flag that has a vintage image of Uncle Sam and God Bless America. The flag has silver sparkly wire to resemble fireworks on the tip of the post. He is mounted on a gray stained board with a dowel. The board has felt on the base to protect your furniture. He is wonderfully grunged up to look very primitive. Uncle Sam is 16" tall. Set him on your mantle or side table with our companion piece, Liberty with torch ( also available in our Etsy shop).
